What is SIMDIN?
SIMDIN is an intelligent meal planning application that generates personalized weekly meal plans, builds consolidated grocery lists, and connects to Kroger for one-click ordering. It learns your preferences over time to deliver increasingly relevant recommendations.
How much does SIMDIN cost?
SIMDIN offers three plans: Starter at $3/month, Pro at $5/month, and Family at $7/month. All plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
Do I need a Kroger account?
No. Kroger integration is optional and available on Pro and Family plans. You can use SIMDIN for meal planning and grocery lists without connecting a store.
What dietary preferences does SIMDIN support?
SIMDIN supports 15+ dietary patterns including keto, vegetarian, vegan, Mediterranean, paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, and more. You can also set custom ingredient exclusions and allergy restrictions.
How does the intelligent planning work?
SIMDIN uses predictive intelligence to analyze your preferences, dietary needs, budget, and past behavior to generate balanced weekly meal plans. The system learns from your ratings, swaps, and purchases to improve recommendations over time.
Can I share my meal plan?
Yes. You can share meal plans via a link with anyone, even if they do not have a SIMDIN account.
Is my data secure?
Yes. SIMDIN uses industry-standard encryption, secure OAuth for Kroger integration, and never stores your grocery store passwords. See our privacy policy for details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel from your settings page and your access continues until the end of the billing period.
Does SIMDIN work on mobile?
Yes. The SIMDIN web app is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. A native iOS app is also available.
How many people can be on one account?
The Starter and Pro plans are for individual use. The Family plan supports up to 6 household members with per-member dietary profiles.
Can I use my own recipes?
Yes. You can search our recipe database, favorite recipes, and the system will incorporate your preferences into future plans.
What is the smart assistant?
The smart assistant is a conversational interface that learns your food preferences through natural language. Instead of filling out forms, you can tell it what you like and it updates your profile automatically.
Does SIMDIN track nutrition?
Yes. Pro and Family plans include per-meal macro tracking (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber) and nutrition goal setting.
What stores does SIMDIN support?
Currently, SIMDIN integrates with Kroger and its family of stores (Harris Teeter, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, and more) across 2,700+ locations in 35 states. Additional store integrations are on the roadmap.
How do ingredient substitutions work?
If an ingredient is unavailable or you prefer an alternative, SIMDIN suggests smart substitutions based on nutritional similarity and recipe compatibility. You can also set permanent ingredient overrides.
What happens after the free trial?
After the 14-day trial, you will be asked to choose a plan. If you do not subscribe, your account remains active with read-only access to past plans.
Can I set recurring meals?
Yes. You can schedule recurring meals (e.g., Taco Tuesday, Pizza Friday) that are automatically included in every generated plan.
Does SIMDIN support fasting schedules?
Yes. You can mark fasting days, skip specific meal slots, or disable snacks on certain days through the schedule overrides feature.
